Potentially Record Breaking Turnout in Garden Club Vote

Votes were tallied for the Garden Club on Tuesday, May 6 and an initial estimate of voter turnout indicated more than 1,400 ballots were cast. There was a nearly 80% increase in voter turnout.

Registration of Association members is reaching near-record levels, now at 77 percent according to the Rancho Santa Fe Review.

I sent a notice to the community to notify them of today’s vote and  will update the totals as they come in and are verified:

UPDATE: Voters Reject Garden Club Purchase

• 659 – “No”  (Previous vote: 99)
• 638 – “Yes” (Previous vote: 687)
• 1297 accepted votes (meaning there were issues with 9 ballots)
