Osuna Property Deed Signed Before Vote to Purchase, No Input from Finance Committee

There has been much controversy over the $12 Million purchase of the Osuna property 10 years ago in light of the most recent attempt to purchase the Garden Club building for $2.4 Million. Documents (below) uncovered by Rancho Santa Fe Association News, show that the grant deed was signed nearly a month before the purchase was approved by the Board. The grant deed was signed on March 31, 2006. The RSFA Board announced that the Board had taken action to acquire the Osuna on April 20, 2006. The “Notice of Intent to Purchase” was sent to RSFA members on April 21, 2006.
